County Task Force Information

WILLIAMS COUNTY

Williams County Commissioners heard from Vicky and Dennis Moore on Thursday, March 9, 2000. Present with Mrs. Moore was Sheila Jones of Edon and Mrs. Jones mother, Carolyn Harrington of Bryan. Sheila Jones' daughter, Sheena, was killed in a car-train collision on County Road H in June 1999. The commissioners were urged to form a task force to identify the most dangerous railroad crossings in Williams County with the help and support of Angels on Track Foundation. Commissioners seemed receptive to the idea, but wanted to discuss the concept with Mr. Walter Schelling, County Engineer (1-419-636-2454).
