On Track Invited to County Commissioner & Engineers
Conference
Columbus, Ohio
-- The Angels on Track Foundation has been invited
to present a workshop at The County Commissioners and
County Engineers Associations of Ohio (CCAO/CCEAO) Annual
Winter Conference on December 12, 2000 at the Hyatt Regency,
350 North High Street, in Columbus.
Vicky Moore, trustee
of The Angels on Track Foundation and railroad safety advocate,
will discuss her personal tragedy in 1995 when her son,
Ryan, was killed at an unprotected railroad crossing. Topics
to be discussed will include the formation of the non-profit
railroad safety foundation, the mission statement, purpose
and goals, county task forces, and funding requirements
for reimbursement grants. Representatives from Wayne, Huron,
and Delaware county railroad safety task forces will join
the workshop to share their accomplishments working with
The Angels on Track Foundation which include upgrading
dangerous railroad grade crossings, railroad safety concerns,
and their goals for the future.
